In Year 7 and 8 students will develop their computing skills through focused integrated projects each lasting a term, where they will need to think creatively and apply their use of software to real life situations they may encounter outside of school.
In computing lessons students will build on skills learnt previously on computers at home and in primary school and will be given opportunities to develop literacy, numeracy and independent learning skills. A variety of teaching strategies are used in our purpose built, modern computer suites and students will not need to share as there are a variety of 30 machines in each room.
