As well as being the vice chairman of Hawthorn Parish Council, I am the vice chairman of the Local Academy Council of Easington Academy. I enjoy the involvement in both and am proud to be part of the team that has enabled the school to improve outcomes for all students.
During my time as a governor I have gained extensive knowledge and experience in relation to financial matters and student behaviour and have been the chair of both the Finance and Pupil Discipline Committees.
I retired from a senior grade in HM Prison Service after 30 years service. My free time is spent walking and enjoying holidays with my family.
