About our teaching school alliance

Jake Cameron

I have been a governor of The Academy at Shotton Hall for over fifteen years and am now a director of Shotton Hall Trust. I am a semi-retired architect, educated at Sedbergh School and Hull School of Architecture.

Before setting up Architects Design Group in 1986 I was deputy director of technical services at Aycliffe and Peterlee Development Corporation (new towns movement). For several years I was a national vice president of The Concrete Association, a multi-disciplinary construction industry discussion and research group.

I bring experience of business administration and management, professional disciplines and committee work as well as architectural design and town planning procedures.

I am married with two adult sons (one educated at Shotton Hall) and I have lived in Peterlee for about twenty years where I am an honorary treasurer of the Apollo Pavilion Community Association.
