A group of students were out of school this week visiting the 'Bring it On' engineering event at the Stadium of Light in Sunderland, aimed to inspire the next generation of North East engineers.
An array of talented north east businesses attended the event to tell students and their teachers about the many possibilities engineering can offer in our region.
There was an introductory session with stunt scientist Doctor Bunhead who showed our students and the audience lots of impressive experiments.
Students then visited six different zones which focused on areas of engineering, they had a go at; driving a digger, welding, making moisturiser, driving a kit car, building bridges and many more things. It was a fantastic day and the students loved it.
