Emma Davies

Emma joined Easington Academy in September 2014 as an Assistant Director of Learning for Key Stage Four. She has then become Second in Science and contributes to the progression of pupils across all areas of Science.

In addition to this role, Emma is involved in the support of new members of staff and recently has become a facilitator for the Early Careers Framework. She is also working with Shotton Hall SCITT to deliver SED days whereby new teachers develop their subject knowledge.

Emma has a BA(Hons) in Human Physiology from St Andrews University and a Masters in Education from Durham University. She has had extensive experience in many aspects of teaching and learning and has a passion for supporting other members of staff in this area in order to allow them to try new ideas and progress. Outside of school Emma regularly plays netball for a local team and enjoys walks with her husband and two dogs.
