Easington collect thousands of food items for local foodbank

This year, we have collected more food than ever for our local foodbank thanks to our Year 11 GCSE citizenship students who organised and promoted the collection in school.

Christmas puts a huge strain on foodbanks as more and more families struggle to make ends meet at this particular time of year. We hope that our collection of over 1,000 items will be a big help and we hope it will mean that no-one will go without this Christmas.

Huge thanks to everyone who donated and a special thanks to the Year 11 students involved.
