Netball practice launches!

Our ever-popular girls' netball club started yesterday with a brilliant turn out from the Year 7, 8 and 9 students (pictured).

The girls will spend the first few weeks practicing with each other before going on to take part in matches with other schools - we will keep you updated. Good luck girls!

Netball is a ball sport played between two teams of seven players and derived from early versions of basketball. Games are played with raised rings at each end and each team attempts to score goals by passing a ball down the court and shooting it through the ring. Players are assigned specific positions, which define their roles within the team and restrict their movement to certain areas of the court.

Year 7, 8 and 9 girls netball club runs every Thursday from 3-4pm but, if netball isn't your thing, we have lots of other clubs running each night - find out more here
