Some of our budding scientists in Year 8 visited the 'Bring it on' science festival last week at the Beacon of Light in Sunderland.
Students met providers from major companies such as Nissan, Caterpillar, GSK and many more to find out about opportunities in their industries. They discussed what route they would need to take to get to their chosen careers.
Students then took part in experiments and even had a go at welding, purifying water, game design and driving diggers!
It was a fantastic day and the students thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
