This morning we hosted a careers carousel with New College Durham for our Year 8 students to learn more about the options available to them post 16.
As options evening is around the corner we wanted to offer the opportunity for Year 8 to gain a better understanding of the options available once leaving school.
Students were able to take part in a range of activities from social care, hair and beauty, sport and even forensic science. The students were also told about the A level options which the college provides.
Thanks to the New College Durham team for coming in and showing us what is on offer.
We hope our Year 8 students had a fun morning and feel more confident ahead of their decision when picking their options.
