Yesterday, Year 10 students travelled to Northumbria University to discuss issues of diversity and justice in the north east past, present and future.
The unique study experience saw students examine the history of the law and used their research to talk to top academics about what they would like to see happen in the area.
Students also enjoyed a performance from local hip-hop and rap artist Kay Greyson, who expresses these themes in her music.
