We would like to say massive congratulations to Year 8's Phoebe on her recent success in competitions for her javelin throws.
Last weekend she achieved a whopping distance of 32.81m, placing her first in the North East and fourth in the UK for her group. Since the competition, she has managed to improve her distance on this throw, setting a new personal best of 34.50m! She has now been selected to take part in trials for the UK Youth Development League and we wish her every success!
