Last week we officially received our Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) licence meaning we can now deliver parts of the DofE award in house to our students.
For students, having a DofE award not only looks good on their CVs, but also, the experience gives them life long skills such as team building, confidence and more.
Marcia Holmes came into school to officially give us our license last week and we already have 22 Year 9 students working towards their first award.
We are looking forward to running the DofE from our school over the next few years.
