Well done to Ava, Eve, Bethany, Bekk, Lee and Jaycee in Year 7 who have successfully competed in a Spelling Bee competition ran by Miss Lowther.
The competition, in collaboration with STEM, University of Durham and the Royal Society of Chemistry, has seen our students learn 80 scientific words which they demonstrated being able to spell in a competition held at the Academy.
The intelligent students are now looking forward to competing with other schools in the regional semi-final - watch this space.
