Our students ventured out to Ashwood Park Care Home yesterday to deliver their AQA Unlocking Potential project.
The group designed their project ‘Easington through the years’ with the aim to tackle social isolation and recently spent the morning at local care home to carry it out. The group spent the morning learning more about the history of Easington and its coal mines, before getting creative with the residents painting bird boxes, practising knitting skills and enjoying a game of bingo!
Both our students and the care home residents had a fab time, well done everyone!
