Today we're celebrating another record breaking year of GCSE results at Easington Academy!
The Class of 2025 have once again broken records, beating all previous results right across the board at Easington Academy. A superb set of results for an extraordinary cohort of young people!
This morning, students, parents/carers and staff came together to celebrate the achievements of our young people. This year’s results, alongside our recent Ofsted inspection report are testament to the hard work and dedication of our staff and young people and our strong partnership with our parents and carers; together we make a fantastic team! Easington Academy has a strong reputation in the community for delivering an excellent education and these results once again affirm this.

Speaking of the success, our Headteacher, Nicola Falconer, said:
“In my speech at our leavers’ assembly this year I told our Year 11 students that if I had to sum up our time together in one word it would be 'extraordinary'. They are an amazing group of young people who made a huge impact on us and our school throughout their time here and I’m delighted that their hard work and commitment has paid off.
This year’s amazing results have not happened by chance, they are the result of commitment, determination, teamwork and strong relationships between students, staff and parents/carers.
I am extremely proud to work with a team of staff who are relentless in ensuring that every child is supported to succeed. On behalf of our students and their families I thank them for everything that they have done and continue to do to make Easington Academy the amazing place that it is.
To the Class of 2025, today is about you and the bright futures ahead of you and I couldn’t be prouder of you. As you prepare to take your next steps, whether that’s college, apprenticeships, work, or something else entirely - remember this: your journey is uniquely yours. Don’t be afraid to dream big, to take risks, and to fail forward. Every setback is a setup for a comeback. Every challenge is an opportunity to grow. Just keep going. The future is yours, go and make it extraordinary.”
