Massive well done to our Under 13 cricketers! Winning by 4 runs at the Durham county finals, the whole team played amazingly.
A special shoutout to Evie, who was the pick of the batters with 49 runs in the final! Evie also scored 63 runs in the semi-final, helping us reach that all-important place in the final.
Easington set Whickham 125 to win and they came close with some spirited batting but unfortunately fell short.
Theo took 2 wickets. Oscar prevented 4 runs with a beautiful stop on the boundary in the final over. Alfie held his nerve and bowled the final over helping Easington secure the win!
The celebrations continued for our Under 13 County Cricket Champions, with the team receiving a brilliant guard of honour from their year group after assembly!
A very special moment to celebrate a fantastic achievement. Good luck to the team as they now head into the regional competition!
