Access to Office 365

Our online learning platform is provided via Office 365; through this account your child can access email, electronic resources shared directly with them and POD where students are able to access additional resources and curriculum plans. Via this platform, staff can set and receive work and communicate directly with classes and individuals.

Devices which can be used to access these resources include X-box and PlayStation as well as mobile devices, laptops etc.

It is essential that your child can log into their account, if you experience problems with this then please use the “reset password” instructions or contact school if you require help.

How to log in

• Click on Office 365 in the top right hand corner of this web page
• Username – your child’s email address
• Password – your child’s password

Free apps

We would also encourage students to download the following free apps if the have not already done so:

• OneDrive
• Outlook (email)
• Word
• PowerPoint
• OneNote
• Excel

Once downloaded, log in to the app using your Office 365 details.

Critical workers

If you are a critical worker and require a school place for your child, please email [email protected]

Students - what you should do:

• It is really important for your future to keep working hard and follow the school routine as far as you can.
• Log on to your school email at least twice a day, to check for messages from teachers and make sure you understand what work you need to complete. 
• Follow your normal timetable as much as possible.
• Complete all work to the best of your ability and as neatly as possible.

Parents/carers - what you can do if your child is working from home:

• Provide a quiet space for your child to work in. 

• Encourage your child to complete all work to the best of their ability and as neatly as possible. 

• Ask your child about the work they are doing and help them where you can; a great way of doing this is by testing them on what they have learned. 

• Keep your child’s email login details safe and remind them of them where necessary.

What to do if your child is ill:

• If your child in unable to attend school because they are unwell or because they are self-isolating because of a family member being unwell, please report this as usual to school.

Books and magazines are available for download/subscription free of charge and Kindle has e-books that are available free of charge within the app.
